After giving a big thought we have decided to close our store/eatery in �de Pijp� after 3 interesting years. The last year has been very hard to combine my internships in different hospitals throughout the country, taking care of the family and of my self and running Senses. Jurgen has been very busy as well while still recovering from the wave of sudden events as many of you know. Soon I will graduate as a medical doctor, and I want to dedicate my self fully to the commitment.

It is of course very hard to give a way something that we created and worked hard for. The cozy atmosphere in Senses was created from both, the (steady) customers and we �the owners and their kids�, and the unique character of the store and small eatery.

As our spirit doesn�t rest we decided to give Senses another form in the future, to continue with the same concept but on different locations. Jurgen has an atelier/workshop on the Albert Cuypstraat, where he can continue to design and make furniture�s and meets people for interior advice, making curtains or upholstering furniture. At his atelier you can have time to look at the various fabrics and materials. For an appointment please call 0650604854, or send a mail at info@sensesonline.nl. Jurgen will keep you updated on current workshops about interior decorating and about new products.

I will organize cooking workshops on different locations, that will end up in eating together and dance, as we did many times in Senses. The caterings on location will be continued as well. Together with our dear friend Jurriaan Bakker, the publisher of Blend magazine and the first Guerilla stores, we will start up a concept of a POP UP restaurants. These initiatives can replace the hunger of gathering together and continuing the initial idea but without consuming the time that a store needs. Soon you will get more info about the first event! So this means that there will be a lot more lemon meringues and many other delicacies that you enjoyed in and great design!!!! Also keep your self updated on www.sensesonline.nl.
