– On the North East of Zanzibar on the Indian Ocean, one hour from Stonetown, you will find this hidden gem. After driving through a beautiful tiny fishing village and unpaved roads you will enter a haven of beauty. 11 luxury Arabic style villas, each with a private outside lounge, splash pool and a view to a panoramic turquoise-sea view, with sounds of the waves lapping gently against the coral barrier reef.

The white sandy beach is accessible by stairs during low tide and during high tide you can go snorkelling (we really enjoyed this) or use the natural sea infinity pool. You can also go scuba diving, fishing or kite surfing.

Peter and Joanna Burri, a couple with extensive experience in the Seychelles and Gstaad are managing this boutique hotel with heart and passion.

P.S.: almost forgot to mention...ask the chef to prepare you lobster on the grill, it's the best we ever had!
