– A terrifically fine hotel in the very centre of Old antwerp, near the Cathedral, with impeccable service and a custom made breakfast, all ecologically answered for.
Nowadays it's 2 buildings converted to one hotel, consisting of 22 rooms.
A true must.

– The food is incredible! Do order the spinach/artichoke dip as apetizer. It is heaven.
The spare ribs are so tender. They fall of the bones. You can eat them with knife and fork...The meat and the fish is unbelievable. The service very friendly.

Trasierra is a privately owned estate set high in the Sierra Morena Mountains, 80km north of Seville in the heart of Andalucia. This historic 16th Century house stands in an aromatic garden surrounded by three thousand acres of olive and orange groves and has been the property of Charlotte Scott and her family for 25 years.
Its charm is that it is a family house as well as an hotel; designed for people who appreciate peace, good taste and comfort, delicious food and stunning unspoilt landscapes .
The beauty of Trasierra is that it is a private estate and therefore adaptable.
It is a large private house for family gatherings,weddings, coursesand retreats
It can be divided into 3 smaller private houses and cottages for groups of friends to rent.
It is a guest house with individual rooms and suites, each with their own particular charm.

– New resto on the Ceintuurbaan. Highly recommeded by Johannes van Dam. Italian owners import most of their products from Italy and this can be tasted. In line with Italian cuisine the antipasti (for 2 pp) stands out in purity and taste and the 4 luscious plates almost form a main course in itself.
The ravioli gratinata is also excellent.
Its not the cosiest or fanciest of restaurants, but the food is very good and the staff friendly (if they're not too busy). Do make a reservation as after publication of Van Dam'sarticle this place tends to fill up quickly

The only reason for me to qualify it as 'it wasn't bad' is that the staff is awfully unattentive and slow. – The interior of this Hong Kong pool bar is all about luxurious detailing versus bold architecture. The Tazmania ballroom is a futuristic Gentleman's club full of surprises. The DJ's booth is reminiscent of an airport control tower, from which they can expertly survey the dance floor.

– Circus is a restaurant where entertainment spontaneously erupts - the philosophy of cabaret is embedded deep into it's DNA. A humorous homage is paid to the buildings's past us (it once housed the animals, including elephants, that performed at the nearby royal Opera House). Beautiful interior by Design Research Studio.
